The three day fishing trip was absolutely wonderful. Catching those hard fighting King Salmon was the highlight of the trip, though landing large halibut ranked a close second, and also those unforgettable lingcod on 20 oz. lures were quite an experience for those of us living far inland in Idaho Falls.

Your crew on the Epic was first class and we especially appreciated John who was most helpful in assuring that everything on our trip was taken care of from start to finish. Ben managed to put us into good fishing on all of three days. He is to be complimented on his skill at operating the charter boat as well as doling out interesting information about the wildlife and marine animals in and around the area.

Thank you again for making our annual Alaskan fishing trip a most memorable one.

Dear Bruce and Peggy:

I just came home from three days of glorious fishing with my buddies: Allen Schefers, Jim Olexa and Virgil Messenbrink.

You are to be commended on your operation.

Here are some comments:

  • I loved our little cabin overlooking the marina.
  • Each day at 5:15 am you brought us a nice warm breakfast.
  • We had a car to run around in.
  • The cabin was cleaned each day and had an ample supply of extra food and bath towels.
  • We were met at the airport when we arrived and said goodbye to along with our fish when we left.
  • The fish were neatly packed and are now in our freezer.
  • And best of all, our guides, Dan and Bryan were very special. They did not let us sit or stand around. They told us we had to be involved and the catch proved it. Dan’s boat was in tiptop shape.

Dear Bruce & Peggy:

Well my Journey to Alaska has ended but the memories are still vivid. This is a time my father, son, and myself will treasure.

We had a wonderful time enjoying the scenery, Peggy’s hospitality, and of coarse lets not forget the incredible-spectacular fishing. My father of almost 70 years of age said it was the best fishing he has ever encountered and I would have to agree. Our hat is off to you Bruce!!!
